In His Own Words

A 40-year turn east, and back.

"Critical to know the difference between who you are and what you do. Take your life seriously; not your self."

About 40 years ago, I became interested in all things "spiritual," with a leaning towards things of the east. My Jewish background had me believing that "those Jews" with the dark suits and long side locks were basically like the Amish with untrimmed mustaches. I had no reason to believe there was any deep wisdom there.

I was deeply intrigued when someone mentioned Tzfas, the place where many Jewish mystics had lived. On a challenge, I went to Israel to discover what the Jews knew about mysticism.

I never turned back.

Slowly, I became more settled in both the Chassidic and Lithuanian Yeshiva worlds, and I'm in love with both.

Coaching Philosophy

Meeting you exactly where you are.

No agenda about where you should be, what you should already know, or how fast you should change. Real growth happens when the work begins from your actual life — not the one you'd describe on a resume. My job is to listen carefully, name the patterns honestly, and hand you tools you can use the same week.

Personal Values

Torah is the light.

Torah is the foundation of how I see the world and the primary guide for living in Hashem's world. Practical coaching tools — elegance, the interview, influencing over informing — sit on top of that foundation, not next to it. They're how Torah meets the texture of an actual marriage, an actual decision, an actual Tuesday afternoon.
